We sell products to businesses and individuals in Finland. These terms of delivery apply to orders placed through our online store.
Products and product prices
The characteristics and prices of the products in the online shop are shown in the product description of each product. We reserve the right to cancel an order if a product has been sold at an incorrect price due to a pricing error or other similar error. The prices of the products include VAT at 25.5%.
Ordering and contract
You can order products on our online shop website by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming your order and paying for the contents of your shopping cart in the payment service. When ordering from our online store, you are required to have read and agreed to our current delivery terms and conditions. You understand that your order, once accepted and confirmed by us, is binding, except to the extent that the right of withdrawal is mentioned below, and creates a contract with these terms of delivery between us.
Customer relationship and data protection
The Privacy Policy in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can be found here. If you have created a customer account in our online shop, you can check and change your personal data via your customer account.
Payment
Payment methods
You can pay for your order in the online shop using the following payment methods:
- Online banking: OP, Nordea, Handelsbanken, Säästöpankki, Oma SP, S-Pankki, POP Bank, Aktia, Ålandsbanken, Danske Bank
- Card payment: Visa, Mastercard and American Express
- Mobile payment methods: MobilePay, Pivo, Transferand Apple Pay
- Invoice and instalment servicet: Walley, OP Account Credit and Op Invoice
- You can also pay by cash or card when you pick up your order from our warehouse (Mittatie 23, 01260 Vantaa, Finland).
Order and payment confirmation
After a successful order, an order confirmation email will be sent to your email address, so please provide your email address when you place your order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.
If for some unexpected reason we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
Payment service provider
The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution. In case of complaints, please contact myynti@tervaleppa.fi in the first instance.

Delivery
Delivery method
The delivery method is selected when you place your order. Delivery options are determined by the size and weight of the products and the postcode of the delivery address.
The options are
- Postal parcel (Post Office)
- Freight (Kaukokiito). (Large/small and normal/long)
- Pick-up from our warehouse (Mittatie 23, 01260 Vantaa, Finland)
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery and contact information provided and Suomen Tervaleppä is entitled to charge delivery costs for orders delivered to the wrong address.
Delivery time
If the product is in stock at the time of ordering, it will generally be dispatched on the working day following the order.
The delivery time is determined by the delivery method and address.
Freight:
- In Southern and Central Finland, delivery time is about 2-3 working days from the date of dispatch. If the product is not in stock at the time of ordering, the estimated delivery time is about 2 weeks.
- In Northern Finland and special areas, delivery time is approximately 2-5 working days from the date of dispatch.
Postal parcel:
- Delivery time for parcels 1-3 working days
Pickup:
- As a rule, a pick-up order can be collected on the next working day at the latest, often even sooner. You will receive a separate notification by email when your order is ready for pick-up.
If the product is not in stock at the time of ordering, delivery will be sent within approximately 2 weeks.
Cancellation and refund
Cancellation of an order
If you are a consumer, you have the right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act to cancel your order by notifying us no later than 14 days after receipt of the goods or the last consignment or, in the case of regular delivery of goods, the first consignment.
The cancellation notice must be sent by e-mail to myynti@tervaleppa.fi
The right of cancellation applies only to uninstalled products.
Returns
If the transaction is cancelled, the goods must be returned without delay and no later than 14 days after the notice of cancellation is given to our return address below.
Returned products must be in their original packaging and properly packaged for return.
If necessary, the person returning the goods must prove that they were returned within the time limit, for example by means of a return receipt. The returning party must pay the costs of the return. These costs are not refundable to the person returning the goods.
We will refund the money you paid for your order without delay, in accordance with consumer protection law. The refund will be made to the payment method used in the order.

Checking the shipment and problem situations
Deliveries review
Please check the delivery as soon as you receive it.
If a product is lost or damaged during transit, or otherwise does not match your order or is faulty, please notify us as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest at myynti@tervaleppa.fi. In consumer transactions, we comply with the mandatory consumer protection law provisions on liability for defects.
Limitation of liability
Suomen Tervaleppä Oy shall not be liable for any indirect or direct damage or any other damage related to the order, delivery or product or any of the above, except to the extent that a mandatory provision of the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory law has provided otherwise with respect to the damage in question.
Disagreements
We aim to resolve any disputes regarding your order by agreement in the first instance, so please contact our customer service team in the first instance to settle the matter.
If a dispute over a commercial contract cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties, the consumer can refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board(www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service of the Registrar’s Office(www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
