Description
Thermally treated alder has been processed in our own factory to achieve a light brown color, making it compatible in tone with thermally treated wood species from other manufacturers. It is a durable choice for saunas and humid environments. Thermal treatment reduces the wood’s moisture movement, increases durability, and gives it a warm, light brown hue.
Thermally treated sauna boards can be treated with sauna-appropriate wood wax or paraffin oil. Treatment will noticeably darken the color of the wood.
