Description
With a wider than normal width of board wood, you can create a calm and simple look for a modern sauna. The 28×160 board fits well with a 150 mm wide panel, for example.
Heat-treated wood is a durable choice for saunas and damp areas. Heat treatment reduces moisture absorption, increases durability and gives the wood a warm, dark brown colour. Heat-treated aspen is treated in our own factory to a particularly dark brown colour, a colour that is clearly different from many other manufacturers’ products. We recommend using rust or acid resistant screws for fixing.
The heat-treated board can be treated with a sauna-safe wood wax or paraffin oil. This treatment will clearly darken the shade of the board.
